PGI Mfg., is Awarded Caterpillar’s Bronze Supplier Certification On March 16, 2010, the PGI Mfg. Peru plant was presented with the coveted Caterpillar Bronze Supplier Certification Award. This award is the culmination of a total team effort by the Peru plant, and recognizes the plant’s ongoing excellent performance in the following areas: Quality for TS16949 Registration; Caterpillar MQ11005; CPK Performance; DPM Performance; PPM Performance; PPAP On-Time Performance; and Deviation Elimination. Continuous Improvement for our commitment to training, deployment, and implementation of the 6 Sigma philosophy. Capacity Planning for effective use of the Caterpillar Planning System. Delivery Performance for our excellent on-time delivery performance for both Caterpillar assembly and service facilities. Through demonstrated results, PGI-Peru has exhibited excellent process control, has shown a desire for ongoing continuous improvement, and has provided quality product to their Caterpillar customers.
